Children’s Ministry Director
Responsible for overseeing Children’s Ministries, which include birth-6th grade, by excelling in the defined Requirements, Key Results Areas and other duties as assigned.
Objective: The Children’s Ministry Director must be:

Champion Every Children’s Age Group - Inspire the church to say yes to children and invest in their future now. Kids need loving and committed adults to show up and connect with them, share life with them, and invest in them. Ensure that these age groups have those adults in their lives, cast the vision for their potential, and inspire the church to love them.
Recruit, Develop and Align Leaders – Recruit new ministry team members with passion and vision. Develop leaders by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and ministry experience it takes to lead their teams and ministries in accordance with Orchard Church’s Leadership Development Strategy. Coach your teams to work together by aligning them with Orchard Church’s mission, vision and core values. Meet with your teams regularly to identify common goals and objectives. Keep a measure of what success looks like and hold them accountable while feeding them what they need to learn and grow in their God-given calling to minister to each age group.
Provide Strategic Direction – Be in alignment with Orchard Church’s overall ministry strategy. Help your teams identify what success looks like and what it means to be effective. Help your teams define the wins and measure the markers that demonstrate progress toward strategic objectives.
Partner with Parents - Find ways to genuinely partner with parents in raising their children. Provide what the church can provide best: a loving network of caring adults who are committed to helping them grow in faith, wisdom, and friendship. Constantly look for ways to improve their partnership with parents.
Help Reach the Community for Jesus –Enhance Orchard Church outreach events by providing kid-friendly and family-oriented components. Partner with other ministries to maximize outreach effectiveness.
