The K-5 Kidzone Director will be the primary point leader for the health, leadership, and growth of the K-5 Children’s Ministries for North Fayette. While not acting as the teacher on a weekly basis, the Director is expected to recruit, train, equip, and develop volunteers to ensure that all Kidzone students are able to participate in an age-appropriate engaging lesson each weekend. The Director will also assist with the coordination and execution of our annual KidzXP. The Director is expected to evaluate attendance trends and create innovative ideas to increase our Children’s Ministry.
Be a Dynamic Leader
Recruit, Train, Equip, and Develop Disciple-Making Leaders for the K-5 Kidzone Ministry and other ministry events, as needed
Plan/Prepare engaging lessons and music for students at each service.
Regularly explore new ways to better engage with Kidzone students and their parents, including new families, regarding special events/services, resources, etc.
Become/Remain actively involved in campus functions, events, and services to be recognized and build relationships with families and students.
Track attendance for all services/events and analyze data to plan for higher retention and growth opportunities for Children’s Ministry.
Partner with Student Pastor and Elevate Student Ministries to aid in the transition of parents and students to Elevate, promoting continual spiritual and emotional growth/maturity.
Ensure that North Fayette Kidzone maintains compliance with Safe Sanctuary, including conference and Crossroads policies, at all services.
Schedule all teachers for weekly services within Planning Center Online (PCO) and train volunteers, as needed.
Maintain clean children’s ministry spaces, ensuring that after services all areas are reset and organized, including equipment/tech.
Complete shopping for children’s ministry supplies, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
