Job Description

Grace Church of Glendora

High School Pastor

The role of the High School Pastor is to lead and grow the High School Ministry at Grace Church of Glendora by providing strategic and effective leadership in programming, events, environments, experiences, and team building. The High School Pastor must be relevant, be able to speak the truth in love, and be a team player. The High School Pastor is part of the Family Life Team. Our goal as a Family Life Team (birth – 12th grade) is to intentionally disciple kids through each developmental stage (embrace, engage, affirm, mobilize). By the time students graduate from High School, we want them to have a faith of their own by trusting Jesus and pursuing authentic faith. We want them to know they are created for a purpose and that God has supernaturally and strategically placed them around people to share the hope we have in Him. We want them to value community, and to know that faith is not developed on our own.

  • Able to build a youth ministry team that is relational and relevant with students

  • A team player who loves to collaborate

  • You have the ability to inspire people and keep a group motivated
  • You can make us laugh and are willing to have fun while working hard
